ANUSH (ah-noosh) means “sweet” in Armenian. The word is also used to describe someone’s kind personality or the sweetness of a food and is interchangeably used as a word for dessert. Another derivative is Anushig (just add the “ig”), both as a proper name and an adjective, meaning “very pretty.”
